The DIY Triple Tap target system is a high-performance, multi-stage reactive target setup designed for law enforcement professionals and shooting enthusiasts seeking to improve their tactical skills. Made from ballistic-grade AR500 steel, this durable system offers a challenging training experience and is built to withstand repeated use. The DIY version is ideal for those who prefer hands-on assembly and includes all essential components, excluding the 46″ angle iron shaft (1.5″ x 0.25″ dimensions), which must be sourced separately. Targets are shipped unpainted and require welding for final assembly. The kit is available with or without Spartan Armor Systems’ patent-pending Multi-Purpose Base (MPB) and can be customized with optional .22LR paddles or challenge tree paddles. For easier setup, we recommend using 1.5″ x 0.25″ angle iron and adding the MPB. Pre-built kits are also available and ship in two packages—one with the targets and optional base, and another with angle iron and pre-welded pivot tubes. Choose the configuration that best suits your training needs and setup preferences.
