The DIY Hostage Moe reactive target system is a versatile and engaging training tool designed to help law enforcement officers and shooting enthusiasts refine their tactical marksmanship. Part of a multi-stage lineup that includes Heads UP and Head Shot Gut Shot, this target system is made from ballistic-grade AR500 steel for maximum durability and impact resistance. The DIY kit includes all essential components except the 46” angle iron shaft (1.5″ x 0.25″), which must be sourced separately. Targets are shipped unpainted and require welding for assembly, making this kit ideal for users who enjoy hands-on projects. Available with or without Spartan Armor Systems’ patent-pending Multi-Purpose Base (MPB), the Hostage Moe system can also be customized with optional .22LR paddles and challenge tree paddles. Pre-built kits are ready to use and ship in two packages—one containing the targets and optional base, and another with angle iron and pre-welded pivot tubes. For the DIY version, we recommend using 1.5″ x 0.25″ angle iron and adding the MPB for quick, stable setup. Select the configuration that fits your training needs and preferred level of assembly.
