The Multi-Purpose Base (MPB) is a portable, lightweight, and highly durable target base engineered for quick setup, easy transport, and long-term reliability. Constructed from 3/8″ mild steel and reinforced with an AR500 steel protector plate, the MPB is built to handle stray shots while offering a stable, wobble-free shooting platform. Its collapsible design allows for fast assembly and disassembly, making it compact enough to fit in the trunk of even the smallest vehicle. Designed with versatility in mind, the MPB includes two angle iron inserts—one for vertical positioning, ideal for Spartan Armor Systems’ reactive target series, and one with a 22-degree lean, perfect for dueling tree setups. Users can source their own angle iron (1.5″ x 0.25″, the standard size used in most American target systems) locally or through our Replacements and Add-Ons section, typically for just $5–$10 per piece. With replaceable legs and rugged construction, the MPB is a smart, adaptable base for any shooter looking for a dependable foundation for their target system.
